after ng enrolment last week, i went to SM Manila kasi i felt like buying a CD..

Spongecola's CD was definitely in my mind, pero i want two.. here lies my dilemma..

so, hindi ko pa alam yung isa... tapos i remembered na may new CD pala ang MYMP [two, in fact].. tapos there's Nina pa pala.. tapos i've been thinking of getting other Local Artists' albums, kasi, all my life kasi i've patronized the Foreign and the scrutinized Local music industry, e now that i've realized it, maganda rin pala ang OPM..

waaaaaa.. ano kaya?!

so, i went straight to Odyssey XL, where i immediately picked up a copy of [Palabas]..

papasok palang, na-notice ko na yung albums chart nila.. hmmm.. interesting.. wala yung album ni Nina sa OPM chart.. bakit kaya?

naku naman, pati ba naman sa music scene babahiran parin ba ng ABS ng pandaraya [as with the case of the so called victory party of Dreamboy]?

hinanap ko yung album ni Nina sa shelves nila.. wala rin.. napa-isip tuloy ako.. mali yata ako ng hinala.. hindi kaya sa sobrang in-demand ng album ni Nina ay wala na silang mai-display na copy? galing naman, kung ganon..

then, nakita ko na rin yung dalawang albums ng MYMP.. meron pa ngang special edition nung albums nila, found in one package.. yun sana yung bibilhin ko, kaso, if i buy it, i'll be short of money then.. Php400 kasi yun, e... so next time nalang.. ;)

tapos i saw na may complementary [complimentary, whichever is right..] tickets sa concert nila sa April 16 included with every purchase in some Rivermaya & Kitchie Nadal CDs .. na-tempt akong bumili, kaso:

1) hindi din naman ako papayagang lumuwas ng friday,
2) kung payagan man ako, wala akong kasama at wala akong panggastos [pinambili ko na ng CD, e!],
3) i have the whole Kitchie album in mp3 format [Ü],
4) i don't think a 5-track EP [Rivermaya's YBSF EP] is worth spending Php200..

tapos, i thought na maganda nga siguro yung album ni Nina kasi platinum na daw yung [Nina Live!] after only three weeks.. i mean, that's got to be some kind of record! so, after searching the shelves for a copy and finding none, i decided to ask the clerk at the desk if they still have a copy..

first, pinahanap muna nung clerk yung isang sales lady sa shelves.. pero la rin siyang nakitang copy.. so, kukuha nalang daw siya sa stock nila.. lo and behold, meron pa pala.. in fact, nakatambak sa far side ng desk nila ang sandamakmak na copies ng [Nina Live!].. grabe.. sobrang successful pala yung album..

ngayon, i've listened to both albums a good number of times, and, sulit na sulit talaga pera ko.. Nina's album is soooooo the album to listen to especially when you're about to sleep na.. tapos Spongecola's record is the album to listen when you just want to rock out..
